As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), we leverage the IDI to assess and establish a baseline of cultural awareness and competence. The IDI assessment, as well as your profile results and development plan are optional add ons.
Roundtables are diverse and inclusive of everyday people like you and me... students, professionals, military (active/veterans), retirees, entrepreneurs, artists, teachers, entertainers, parents, and anyone that wants to connect with others who are actively working to leverage our differences in order to achieve positive outcomes, In Unity!
Our Roundtable sessions provide comprehensive curriculum that explores our conscious and unconscious thoughts and behaviors about inclusion, equity, anti-racism, and a variety of dimensions that race intersects, such as race/gender; race/religion; race/education and race/economics. Yes, we discuss how race, and gender bias influences our daily decisions and impacts behaviors.
As a Roundtable member you are assigned to a closed work group, of up to 12 individuals, who take a journey to explore self awareness, as well as learning about other cultures through story telling, videos, books and mindful, candid conversations. Once trust and transparency is established, and respected as a value within the group, members are encouraged to take the Implicit Association Test and share interventions that address biased behavior.
As a monthly Roundtable member, you also have access to cultural immersion activities, social gatherings, and educational resources.
Members commit to participate in monthly Roundtables, as well as complete any pre work activities, as this dedication to personal development, has been proven to foster trust, respect, and working relationships among the members.
